The residency explored the interplay between figure and place in the rural landscape of Sona, Romania, drawing on the artists' experience with toy design and narrative photography.
Through playful interventions and photographic documentation, the project examined how spatial context shapes the perception of characters and how these characters, in turn, inform our understanding of the space.
The final outcome included a series of photographs and experiments with moving images, capturing the dynamic relationship between body and territory - as well as a house-scaled character constructed together with the children in Sona.
